At the Seed we believe learning should be engaging and fun. Children have curiosities and interests that make excellent content for studies. An emergent curriculum model is used at Awakening Seed. This model gives students and teachers a voice in shaping the direction of the curriculum, based on interests, strengths or needs of a class, current events, and available resources. Awakening Seed teachers follow the Arizona educational standards, Arizona early learning standards, and NAEYC guidelines for curriculum development.
