It’s carnival week. We’re in the throes of a truly exciting time at the Seed. Many, many people have been, and continue to be, hard at work putting it all together. Parents and grandparents are baking treats, stirring up chili, and purchasing kid-friendly drinks. Our highly efficient APA team has been steadily assembling silent auction baskets, gathering more raffle prizes, and checking in with coordinators of various committees. Staff participating in this year’s Mystery Theater production of THE FRIGHT CLUB are busily rehearsing for another series of performances during the carnival. Classrooms are making decorations and frosting cakes for the cake walk. The light team has spent multiple hours painstakingly hanging the lights that will illuminate the entire event.
It will all come together on Friday night. Over the years, it always seems like a magical process the way the evening unfolds. It’s our biggest fundraiser and a time when Seeds, current and alumni, gather for Halloween festivities in a big way. It happens through the efforts of everyone at the Seed, in whatever capacity each person can participate. We hope you all enjoy it as much as we do putting it all together. We appreciate your help and support. Have a safe, happy Halloween.
